Black box Lion Air JT610 ditemukan. Black box sudah diangkat di Kapal Baruna Jaya I.

Black box ditemukan dalam penyelaman di koordinat sinyal black box terdeteksi. Kapal Baruna Jaya I lego jangkar untuk fokus pencarian.

Penemuan ini dikonfirmasi oleh penyelam TNI AL Sertu Hendra. "Kami ikuti alat, kami kecilkan areanya lalu pada tempat yang alatnya menimbulkan bunyi sensitif kami gali lagi dan ternyata kami mendapatkan black box," ujarnya, Kamis (1/11/2018).
Pada Rabu (31/10) koordinator sinyal black box tertangkap transponder USBL berada pada koordinat S 05 48 48.051 - E 107 07 37.622 dan koordinat S 05 48 46.545 - E 107 07 38.393.

Pencarian black box dilakukan juga dengan menurunkan ROV dari Kapal Riset Baruna Jaya I. ROV pada pagi tadi sudah menangkap gambar serpihan pesawat dan kain syal milik penumpang di dasar laut. Petugas juga membawa ping locator untuk menangkap sinyal yang dipancarkan black box.

Pencarian black box ini sempat terkendala dengan arus kencang di bawah laut. Sebelumnya diperkirakan black box berada pada kedalaman sekitar 32 meter.
